Mt Uncle Distillery

Mt Uncle Distillery is the brainchild of Mark Watkins, a North Queensland bloke who chases flavour like it owes him money. Family owned since 2001 and based in Walkamin on the Atherton Tablelands, it makes rum, gin, agave and whisky, and Mark famously brought the first Blue Weber agave seeds onto Australian soil after an adventurous trip to Mexico. The cellar door is open seven days, with live music and events keeping the place buzzing.

Their Botanic Australis Gin leads the Bush Martini, an earthy, outback leaning pour that wraps you in eucalyptus and lemon myrtle.

A pioneering, slightly cheeky spirit runs through everything Mt Uncle does. That is the energy we love to bottle, and good fun to mix with.
