Prohibition Liquor Co. started in 2015 when two Adelaide mates, one from food and beverage and one a graphic designer, hatched a plan to make gin in a backyard garage. It grew into an Adelaide institution, with a Gilbert Street distillery built around a 900 litre copper pot still named Mary, plus Bootleg Coffee Co and the Next Door cocktail bar. The spirits have collected awards from San Francisco to Singapore.
Their Original Gin is the base for the Dirty Martinez, the mother of martinis, smooth, sweet and aromatic.
From a garage to the world stage without losing the plot. We have a lot of time for makers who keep that backyard spirit, and our bitters slot neatly into a martinez.
