Convict Aromatic Bitters

Title

Convict, our flagship bitters, takes its name from the convict ships where bitters first arrived in Australia. Crafted to perfect the Lemon, Lime & Bitters and give cocktails a modern Australian twist.

DESCRIPTION

Born from a father-son weekend ritual, Convict Aromatic Bitters has evolved into an award-winning artisanal craft. Rooted in family heritage and Australian ingenuity, it represents a unique blend of tradition and modernity.

Each batch, meticulously crafted in Sydney, undergoes a 144-hour extraction process. This method infuses native botanicals with age-old techniques, perfectly balancing the traditional bitters profiles with a unique, captivating character. Game changer for Old Fashioneds

A friend brought a bottle of this to a gathering, and having sampled it I bought my own bottle as soon as possible.

Makes a phenomenal Old Fashioned, giving a great herbal flavour without the tannin/astringency of Angostura. Convict Bitters are smoother and more complex in flavour, without overpowering the spirit.

    Unreservedly recommended.

    Bitter me Up

Convict Bitters is a lovely refreshing botanical bitter that balances well mixed with other liquors and mixers.

The first cocktail I made using Convict Bitters was in a cocktail combining Sweet, Sour and Bitter flavours.

    The bitters came through beautifully.

    15ml convict.bitters

    20ml Pisco

    30ml Fresh Lemon Juice

    30ml Pineapple Juice

    10ml Orgeat Syrup (Homemade)

Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled.

Strain into chilled Coupe Glass, garnish and enjoy.
